On July 22, 2026, Solar Africa 2026, a benchmark renewable energy exhibition in East Africa, opened grandly at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi. Officially supported by Kenya's Ministry of Energy and Petroleum, the exhibition attracted more than 400 energy companies from dozens of countries in East and West Africa and is an important commercial exchange platform for Africa's photovoltaic and energy storage sector.

Kenya is vigorously advancing its energy transition and has set a goal of achieving a 100% clean electricity grid by 2030. It continues to implement off-grid microgrids, rural electrification, and photovoltaic renovation projects for public facilities. Many areas of East Africa have insufficient grid coverage and unstable power supplies, creating strong market demand for off-grid photovoltaic + energy storage systems, small microgrids, and commercial and industrial backup power. Jinshang New Energy Co., Ltd. appeared at the exhibition with new energy products and integrated solar-storage solutions adapted to African climate conditions, seizing East Africa's clean energy development opportunities and working with partners to solve local power-shortage challenges.

The exhibition focused on off-grid photovoltaic systems, energy storage batteries, solar water pumps, small intelligent microgrids, and commercial and industrial backup power, directly addressing East Africa's energy development challenges. Kenya and many neighboring East African countries are vigorously promoting rural electrification projects, supporting small photovoltaic power plants and community microgrid projects, and encouraging hospitals, schools, farms, and mining areas to install independent solar-storage systems. The inclusive clean energy market is entering a period of rapid growth.

In response to East Africa's high temperatures, dusty conditions, and weak infrastructure, Jinshang New Energy prominently displayed dust-resistant high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, off-grid energy storage battery packs, small all-in-one solar-storage units, microgrid control systems, and complete solar irrigation solutions. The products have optimized high-temperature and dust resistance and feature simple operation and maintenance, outstanding cost performance, and suitability for independent power supply in remote areas. They perfectly match scenarios such as rural electrification, commercial and industrial self-generation and self-consumption, emergency power supply for mining areas, and photovoltaic agricultural irrigation in East Africa, attracting widespread attention from government representatives, local energy distributors, and project developers at the exhibition.
During the exhibition, the Jinshang New Energy team held in-depth exchanges and discussions with Kenyan energy department officials, representatives of the national power company, local energy distributors, and regional African EPC companies. Focusing on East African microgrid project construction, bulk supply of off-grid solar-storage equipment, rural electrification project cooperation, and joint development of local distribution channels, Jinshang New Energy created a cooperation model combining cost-effective complete solar-storage equipment + project solution support + localized technical training based on regional market characteristics. Covering the full process of product supply, system solutions, installation training, and after-sales support, the model is highly aligned with African market business models and generated a large number of effective customer resources and cooperation invitations.

The Kenya solar exhibition lasted three days, with multiple East African energy development forums held concurrently to interpret renewable energy support policies in different countries, share commercialization models for off-grid energy, and discuss implementation paths for inclusive energy. Jinshang New Energy's participation in the Kenya exhibition marks the company's continued improvement of its African market strategy and its delivery of reliable, highly adaptable Chinese new energy equipment and solutions to the entire East African market. In the future, Jinshang New Energy will continue to deepen its presence in Africa, use photovoltaic and energy storage technologies to improve regional energy access, and write a new chapter in China-Africa green energy cooperation.
