In October 2025, the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) in South Africa was brightly lit as the two-day South Africa International Solar Energy and Storage Exhibition came to a close. As a core communication platform for Africa's energy transition, this exhibition attracted 268 exhibitors from over 30 countries and more than 11,000 professional visitors. Jiangsu Jinsun New Energy Co., Ltd. showcased customized solar storage solutions tailored for the African market, becoming one of the highlights of the exhibition.

To address the core needs of high irradiation, frequent power outages, and electricity supply gaps in remote areas in South Africa, Jiangsu Jinsun's booth focused on three core technology solutions:

"The goal of South Africa to have 40% of its energy from renewable sources by 2030 presents three major opportunities for Chinese companies — the annual demand for moisture-proof inverters suitable for high-temperature environments exceeds 500,000 units, the household energy storage market is growing at an annual rate of 22%, and the gap in microgrid projects is as high as hundreds of billions." This viewpoint aligns closely with the planning in South Africa's "National Energy Policy," which emphasizes the focus on energy storage and distributed energy.

"The annual procurement scale of electrical equipment in Africa exceeds $30 billion; we bring not only products but also full lifecycle services."
This exhibition not only showcased Jiangsu Jinsun's technical strength but also reflected the deep participation of Chinese new energy companies in Africa's energy transition. As Africa's $80 billion energy investment market gradually unfolds, the technical cooperation and industrial synergy between both parties will inject new momentum into the global clean energy development.
